(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm going to be building a new gaming PC and just wondered if anyone knew if I could run games such as GTA 4 and FSX on a medium/high graphics settings.

Specs -

- Intel i5 2300k 2.80GHz
- ASUS P8H61-M
- 500W PSU
- Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS
- 500GB HDD
- Corsair 2x2GB RAM
- Antec 100 Gaming Case

If my PC with a Intel Core Duo Processer can run SA + GTA with virtually no lagg, im pretty sure this will no problem

Just for some advice though I would add more ram, the more ram you have the smoother your games will run and you won't have to worry about having too many programs open at once.

Its going to cost around £400 for everything, Also I'm going to upgrade my graphics card to a GTX 560! Happy

Maybe with the GTX 560 you can, get the 2500k instead though, it's what I see just about everyone on budget builds go with.
You might want to get a 600w PSU or more :p You're pushing it with a 500w and it's really a bother to buy another PSU when 100w more only costs a few bucks.
As for the RAM make sure you get DDR3, 1066 or 1333 are fine, little performance is gained when you go higher.

I'd bump up the CPU a bit, there's a quad-core i5 on newegg for $189.99 that clocks at 3.1GHz. If you can dump $100 on a GPU I recommend the GeForce GTS 450.
