are these parts good and, most importantly, compatible?


MoBo: Asus Socket 1155 P8P67
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6850
RAM: 2x4GB(8GB) Corsair DDR3 1333MHz
PSU: Corsair CMPSU-600CXEU 600W
HDSad Awesome WD Digital Caviar 500GB 7200rpm 16MB
(budget:£550-£600)

also i am in the uk so where do you suggest i buy from?

they're pretty good.. Winky Winky I'd reccommend for the processor to get an i7-2600k

Tbh i7 and i5 are just a very small difference in-game dont worry about that.
If you have the money you could get a bigger Ram (8?), so it will run smoothly over a longer time playing
and you can run more programs.

Unless you want to overclock I'd go for an AMD, preferablly a phenom x4 black edition.
In game with intel's hyperthreading you only get a few more FPS with i7
and i5 is in essence what AMD has but for twice the price.
the sandy bridge architecture is amazing for overclocking if thats what you're into but this is a budget build so I'd go with an AMD quad core, the best they have which is about $100 or so give or take...
Also the 6870 is best for it's price and youd have the money for it instead of the i5.
