(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My 24" LCD monitor just died on me so i'm looking for a new one.

I have the option of buying a 24" or a 27" but need some input from you guys. I mainly use it for regular PC stuff & plan to hook up a spare PS3 to it.

I am aware that the screen size on the 27" is slightly larger but would the resolution be better on the 24 or better on the 27 for PS3 gaming?

Also would my desktop (Icons etc) look rough and jagged on a 27 inch?

Thanks in advance for the input.

The bigger the better Winky Winky
But FYI, you could find a 27" TV cheaper than a computer monitor so consider buying a TV instead and just hook your PC up to that.

Refresh rate and response time are way more important than resolution...
Icons should be fine though.

Bigger is not always better. I despised playing CoD on my 62 and 52 inch TVs. It was just so off and it felt that the movements were delayed. My 27 inch TV did the trick. Although personally from my experience and from what a lot of people say is that a 32" TV is the best.
