(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok well Im running a
emachines w3615
ram: 526 x 2
OS: vista
thats all I know XD

well here are the questions.
1.) is xp better than vista?
2.) If XP is better for gaming how can I downgrade? p.s my other pc can burn dvds & cds.
3.) Im going to upgrade my graphics to this NVidia GeForce 7900 GS 256MB Video Graphics Card PCI-E x16 For Desktop/Tower Systems with a PCI-Express x16 slot
You must login or register to view this content.

& Im not sure what else I'll need to install it on my pc. (I.E converters, cables, ect.) could someone tell me what would I need to use it on a vga monitor or HDMI tv.
4.)With this card will I be able to run TF2 on high settings?

Please quote me

Thanks in advance.

Ehh, Just saying, Xp isn't good for gaming. Vista (Although slower on old hardware) Is better if your PC can handle it.
Your machine seems better optimized for XP. If you plan on doing gaming like COD and Battlefield, you may want to upgrade to a better graphics card and a stronger processor. But you will also most likely need a new motherboard and PSU. TF2? I'm not sure. I can't play it on an AMD Radeon Mobility HD 3650, on high settings, so I wouldn't know.

your computer's pretty olde! dont thing you'll go pretty far qith 1gb of ram :s, either with that 5 years old entry level GPU (it was entry level 5 years ago)...
just my 2 cents, but you wont have an enormous performance boost. I would never recommend vista on only 1gb of ram, hell, id never recommend vista on anything.

Your eMachines is going to be very difficult to find upgrades for, considering it is running on hardware that's not even standard anymore.

By the time you find said upgrades, if you actually can, you'll still only have 2GB of DDR2 RAM (which is the maximum supported), a better but still incapable processor (unless you're playing games from 05'Winky Winky, and maybe a larger hard drive. I don't know about graphics.

This computer isn't even worth upgrading, because even if you do you still won't be able to play modern games. I wouldn't even count on running TF2.
