(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, I'm thinkin bout quitting console gaming and moving on to PC gaming. But I need some help choosing a good PC and I also have some questions.

1. The PC

I need help finding a good PC to fit my needs. Basically all I need it to do is to play Battlefield games and Medal of Honor (and maybe CoD games) Smoothly. Like, I mean SMOOTHLY.

Price range is around $1000 for everything (Monitor, Keyboard, etc. )

Also tell me what to look for when searching for good gaming PC's.

I won't really need it for internet or office word or anything, just gaming.

Also, does the monitor really matter in pc gaming?

2. Questions

1. Are there any achievements/ trophies for PC games?
2. Do I need Steam/Origin in order to play multiplayer on games?
3. Is playing the game from disc better than downloading from Steam/Origin?

Thanks if you provide help.

pc games normally run through steam/orgin/games for windows and yes pretty sure they all have achievements , also a pc with a i5 processor ,a gforce gtx 550 ti or similar or higher would do you graphics wise and a ssd with a second hdd for storage(7200rpm) psu unit at least 700watts is a good start for wanting to know how all this goes together and what exactly you would need if you need help a lot of ppl are interested in custom builds so its a good place to ask about if what goes with what good or if its compatible with this and that Winky Winky

are you happy to build a pc yourself?? it is very very easy, just like a very small jigsaw, but some people dont want to build for whatever reason. a custom build will allow you to get more for your money and exactly what you want.

1: yes as most games are done through steam/origin which have achievements.

2: not necessarily. depends on the game. the majority you do need steam but not all.

3: basically the same. you wont notice much difference from the two as most games activate themselves on steam/origin so it works out basically the same.

so are you happy to build your own pc? if so let me know and ill make a build for you Smile
