Post: Help on Gaming PC cost.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm new to building a PC and was wondering if somebody could help me on how much i would have to spend on building a gaming PC that will be powerful enough to play games such as BF3, Black Ops 2 and ARMA smoothly, Ive got about €1000-1500 to spend.

it will play almost every game at 60+ Fps.

It will over clock really well, and if you want to make it better, get a bigger case, and a h100 cooler.

The above setup works really well. But if you are going to get an H80 or H100, you might as well just get a i5 3570k. They overclock on lower voltage and perform about 13-17% better. It should be the same price as the 2600k or maybe a little cheaper.

The above build works great, however I'd take Millz advice into consideration and get a i5 3570k +1 from me.
But I'd also get some better fans than the ones that come with the H80. No point getting water cooling if you're gonna get crap noisy fans for the rad.

thank you everyone for the help. Ive used bits of what was mentioned that would work well together and i also have made a few adjustments and was wonder if all of these items were compatable.

That looks fine. But as I said, the fans on the H60/H80/H100 are shit and you should buy some better ones for it.
