How future proof are these specs. When and What should I be upgrading. I know the CPU and mobo are a little old but when should I upgrade them?

Guess you can upgrade the cpu + motherboard soon, whenever you have the money go for it.

See I would have gotten a mobo with a LGA1155 socket but my uncle bought me the older 1366 so it sucks I'll have to upgrade the mobo and cpu. After I upgrade the mobo and cpu I'll probably get a better psu and maybe run sli. I'll sell the old parts to my brother or something cause he is looking for a budget gaming PC. Thanks for your help

It's not "future proof"

It will be able to play all of the latest games on highest settings with playable frame rates. However it is limited in terms of upgrades, as you know you have to upgrade your motherboard in order to upgrade the CPU as well. The GPU should be fine for the year, and the CPU is still not weak. It will last quite some time. The 960 is still an excellent CPU and your rig overall will still be great for playing games.

Like I mentioned above though, in terms of being future proof. It's not quite the best.

Yea. I wish my uncle got me the newer socket on the mobo. 1366 is old
