Do a barrel roll!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so i want to do my own build, the specs are below, i would really really like to take it down to an i3 but i feel that it would really bottle neck it but also im not sure at the same time. I am also unsure that everything would be compatible with each other and if that the mother board would fit in that midi case.

What im trying ask is that

Are these parts compatible with each other?

Can i switch down to an i3? (it would save me the money that i really need)

would it run games e.g bf3 borderlands2 etc on high settings and what fps would i roughly be getting ( igaf about ultra )

also i have an extra 3gb ram sitting in from of me thats why there is only 4gb on the list

Yes, you can drop the CPU to an i3 2120, it won't have a huge impact on gaming.
Just buy 8GB of RAM. You can't use 4GB and 3GB, it works best in pairs and RAM isn't expensive.
The GPU isn't great, switch it out to a 6870.

You're best of using one site to buy all the parts.

Thanks man that will help alot if i dont have to get the i5 so the i3 and the 6870 will come to about the same price ish, Do you think that this will run high end games reasonably?

Yes, make sure you get the i3 2120 though.
6870 is about £130 but its the bare minimum for high end games.

k one your motherboard doesnt support 3rd gen intel cpu's idk how someone hasnt figured this out yet, z77,h77,z75 all support 3rd gen anything below will not , there a few others but those are the main.the gpu is a waste of money at 192 cuda cores for a 550 ti its a complete waste of money get a readeon 7850 it should be close to the same price but out perform the 550 ti in almost every way.everything else is good

and to answer that question if it will fit the case is made with pre drilled atx/micro atx holes so yea it should case should also come with stand off screws for your board you want to put those in and screw the board screws into those it makes it stand up and lest wires/air flow under neath

Thanks, yeah i liked this case also it has space at the back of the motherboard which you can use for putting wires in there, also do you think that this is a good replacement for the m/b?You must login or register to view this content. the i3 is LA1155 but in the m/b description it says that it is 1155 im guessing that when they say 1155 they mean LA1155 or am i wrong? Also for the gpu 6870 do the job because atm im already stretching the money lol, would this do me until maybe around a year and then i could upgrade it?

Thanks for the feedback
