(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); okay guys, my computer is just a piece of shit. with that being said i am going to go get a new around Christmas time and was wondering what type of computer i should get (it has to be a laptop as i am going to be going to college soon so i need one i can travel very easily with).

What I want from the laptop:
-not crazy expensive
-able to game (not a lot just a little bit, not really a top priority)
-runs fast

That's about all i want, but i really have no idea of what to get when it comes to computers.

Thanks for reading this and please give me some advice Smile

By crazy expensive do you mean anything over $1000? Or more around the $300-700 mark?

Dell make some pretty nice gaming laptops but they are a tad pricey. I have the L702x with 6GB ram, i7 quad @2.2, nvidia geforce 555m 3GB which I got for Christmas last year. I can play games like Skyrim, BF3 and Crysis comfortably, but it does get a tad hot when gaming so I'm looking to get a wireless keyboard soon. The laptop was around the $1000 mark.

Have a look at Asus, Acer and Sony laptops as well. If you see any you like, post them here and I'll tell you what I think about them.

For a cheapy would go with some sort of HP computer. They never seem to fail me. But plan on getting a decent gaming computer off of ibuildpower.com even though its gonna cost me a shit ton. Im determined to save a few paychecks for that lololol.
