(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm switching from console to PC gaming and I sold all my console stuff and was able to acquire $1200.

I can't use all of the $1200 on the PC build itself because I still need to save for accessories:
ASUS 23" Monitor [You must login or register to view this content.]
RAZER Blackwidow 2012 Keyboard [You must login or register to view this content.]
RAZER Mamba 2012 mouse [You must login or register to view this content.]

Would this be a good build?

for the price on your gpu i would almost go with amd card instead You must login or register to view this content. reason on my choice of ram is its low profile if you have a huge cpu heatsync you will have more room with this

your over paying on the mouse and keyboard, motherboard thats for sure.
everything looks good but u should list a case, and a beefer gfx card is a must. the radeon 7870 is amazing for the price can get 60fps in just about everything for around 230$ the list below if a much better part list and i think you actually saved quite a bit of money so u can buy some pc games like Skyrim and BF3. btw skyrim is the best way to look at pc graphics with that turned up to max setting which you should hit on that pc below it will show u why pc decimates console graphics wise

Alright, thanks for the tip on the motherboard. I didn't realize I was overpaying for it, this is my first time building a PC. I switched to the motherboard that ToKiiNz linked.

@ToKiiNz, you said to get a beefier GPU, but I'm not that much of a hardcore gamer to play games at ultra settings. I'm one of those guys that's perfectly happy at medium/high settings. Should I downgrade my GPU or stay where I'm at? The GPU you linked is almost $100 more.

If it helps, this is what I plan to do with this PC:
- Livestream
- Games: League of Legends, Diablo III, and World of Warcraft (mainly League of Legends)
- Very light video editing
