Now what my question is whether or not buying one of those compared to a 7970 which would be better.Please dont just post saying the 7970 will beat the 680 in fps im wanting to know which is going to be able to handle heavy aa settings with ssao and tessellation on top of it and still give a stable frame rate of 30+

Keep in mind the 680 has phsx and TXAA going for it imo which is why i originally choose a 660-ti but im selling it and looking for a decent upgrade over it the listed gpu im not really willing to pay any higher then that ($469)

physx isnt really anything any btw the 680 beats all but the 7970 is better in crossfire and compared to 670 the 7970 is better but hands down 680 is the best card for you other than spending 1000$ on a 7990 or a gtx 690

alright ya i wasnt sure only cards ive owned have been a old radeon card from xps 430 and nvidia since then didnt know how new radeon cards would handel large amount of pixals to fill and how well it would do aa compared to 680's

even a 7950 that you will be able to overlock well will be a huge diffrence
