(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys i wanted some help, i recently bought a Alienware M14x R2 and i was wondering if there was a way to overclock the cpu.

Specs:
Intel i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40 ghz
BIOS A09
Nvidia GT 650M 2GB GPU
16 GB ram
Windows 8 64 bit

and if any other info is needed let me know Smile

but yea could i overclock this in some way?

1 you overpaid big time and also guess if you google you will find out, in all seriousness i wouldn't because of heat issues and alienwares already don't last very long

Actually toke I did my research first and I got it way cheaper then if I were to buy it in us or Canada I bought it here in Dubai, and also I thought over it and I'm not over locking the CPU even though. There is a option in the bios but I don't even know how so w.e and I'm using afterburner to overclock the gpu though and I'm using 135/235 is it okay at those or should I change them?

and i still can guarentee you overpaid and if you overclock a laptop that already has heat issues your going to have a bad day, i can't tell if its ok i don't own a $1500 lightbrite aka alienware computer so i can't tell without looking at temps
