Post: Is this a good gaming laptop?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i wanted to know if this pc is actually good enought to play games like Battlefield 3, Simcity Skyrim and upcoming games! So here are the specs:


Processor: i7
Ram: 8 GB
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Max Resolution: 1366 x 768

Sooo thats it, can you tell me if it can run modern games? Please i will plus rep ! Have a nice day!

Actually, Clutch, I was very pleasantly surprised a couple of days ago when I tried running Dishonored on the Intel HD4000 in my laptop with everything set to high on a similar specced laptop, and have gotten 30FPS!
My laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad Y580

To the OP, an integrated GPU is certainly not enough, while this one is nice, it won't run BF3 on high at 60, and you need to give us a little more information about the specs so we can help you better Smile

Dishonored is one of the least demanding AAA games released for a few years now. That's not a fair benchmark.

You also haven't mentioned what resolution you're playing at, if there's any AF/AA, et cetera.

I realized this, yes, and I'm running at the same resolution as the OP.
I was just pointing out that it was a nice discovery as I've always bashed all Intel integrated GPUs ever since they started them, lol.
