Had this in a wishlist on Newegg for my brother for a while. It's just barely over $1000

This build has a solid CPU & video card, however the motherboard, case and to a lesser extent the power supply are budget choices. Regardless, this'll be solid for $1000.

The hard drive is fast enough to be used in recording with Dxtory if desired. If not, it's a fast hard drive anyway. SSD for the OS and a few programs/games.

New GPU cards will come out this year and new Intel CPUs this summer i think! So if you are able to wait, you might find some good deals out there Happy

Intel's Haswell CPUs are due out June 3rd/4th, however existing CPU prices should remain the same. I doubt it'll be much different for video cards, at least for the time being.

I want to tell you that for good gaming PC you need superb configuration. Basically, at least 4GB RAM and 1GB graphic card as well. I must tell you with this configuration you will like to play any of game in your PC.
