Post: new to PC need some help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so long story short i have been a sony player all my life but now i want to step it up and get into pc gaming. i have zero knowledge about PC parts etc but i want to play skyrim on my pc what kind of pc should i get that can run skyrim and all its mods and i dont have a budget i just need some advice also i cant build my own pc because im an idiot and will probably blow my house up trying to build the pc im just looking to buy a pc or laptop that could flawlessly run skyrim

Ah you would be surprised, my G75VX from Asus rapes most games on Ultra/High @ 1080. It's just more expensive to buy a good gaming laptop vs a desktop. Plus desktops have plenty of things to upgrade down the line. Laptop? It's mostly just Ram or HDD upgrades.

Alienware? Complete garbage machines. You spend a good 500-1000$ on brand naming period, and it's a Dell product... fuck its awful.

Set a budget.
A pretty decent mid-grade desktop will run you 800-1000 intel wise, AMD can be a bit cheaper too.
Plus the new Intel Haswell chips came out so its a good time for intel chips.

haswell is garbage barely a upgrade preformance wise just good as it will drop ivy bridge prices

haswell is catered more for laptops than desktops honestly. I brought it up because with their release hopefully we will see a good price reduction in other intel chips.
