Case: Sure.

Motherboard: I'm guessing you mean x79? Similar to the CPU below it's unnecessary.

CPU: No need for gaming at that price. Reduce to a 3770k (socket 1155) or 4770k (socket 1150).

Aftermarket CPU cooler: I know nothing of water cooling thus far so I'll leave someone else to inform you here.

Memory: I'm guessing you meant 2x8GB and not 8x8GB? :p That's fine.

Video card: Should have chosen a card with better cooling. If you go Crossfire be sure to become familiar with the third party tool "Radeon Pro" - it's been great for me at resolving frame rating/stutter issues.

Power supply: You'll definitely not need to upgrade that any time soon. For reference, I run two power hungry AMD 7xxx cards (7950 + 7970) in Crossfire plus several different drives on a 750W power supply and am still a bit below my watt limit. That sort of power supply should manage three cards just fine.

Operating system: Just get Windows 8 and use a program like Start8 to fix Metro. Metro-aside Windows 8 is superior to it's predecessor.

HDDs: Maybe a bit slow if you wanted to record with Dxtory, otherwise fine.

SSSad Awesome Fine.

How are you making the total out at £1500? Should be considerably more than that for the parts you listed. /confused

The total i've spent so far is that amount because some parts i've not paid full price for as i've gotten them cheap on Ebay or elsewhere, and yes i do mean 8x8GB (64GB RAM in total). basically i'm trying to build the ultimate PC for gaming/video editing etc, what hard drives should i be looking at that are fast and have high capacities (i'm raiding them).

Also does my Graphics card have shit cooling? i thought it would of been sufficient seeing as its pretty top end? could i add cooling to it later on?

Money isn't really a problem hence why i'm not really bothered if i'm paying over the odds for something thats gunna be too much for what i need. (if that makes sense)

Is it a good build if money wasn't a factor?

Because i read that the one i have is the fastest at the moment and can be overclocked to beastly speeds.

the others can be overclocked well and that all depends on the heat, motherboard and also theres absolutely no need to have that cpu, its not the fastest also

Neo_Angelo... you're spending a fortune for a small performance benefit that'll be outdated within a few years. Please stop, come up with a budget and do it that way.

I don't have a budget because i don't really need one, money is not really an issue with this build all i want to know is if the parts i've listed will create an epic fast PC regardless of the cost (if that makes sense) sure i'm probably the most stupidest person in the world doing it this way as your probably right its way too expensive for the small power increase i will get but i'm one of those people who would pay that price for that small increase.....either because i'm stupid or because i like having better things.
