My friend brought an ATI hd 7970 and a mid tower case i think it was coolermaster, with all of the cables dangling everywhere and a massive custom CPU fan and heatsink the graphics card couldn't fit in the mid tower case and he had to resort to buying a full tower case. I don't know how big the mid tower case your going to buy is and I'm not telling you must buy a full tower case, but just a heads up how big powerful graphics card are nowadays.

Tranquility.
I've always though about building a rig, but it's the though of sitting at a desk that gets me sometimes. This looks like a good build though, and something I might look into getting.

Nice build, only gripe I would have with it is the power supply. It's a really good PSU don't get me wrong, but you could pick up the modular version for a couple dollars more and not have to worry about cable management as much. It would make it a ton easier, and you can still do it with the non-modular version, but the cables you don't use you got to tuck them away somewhere so they don't block airflow. :p

It's semi modular m8 tears The only cables plugged into it are the ones 99% of people are going to use anyways tears

Link me to the one you recommend (Prefered Source: Newegg). I'm not opposed to spending a couple more dollars.

I would invest in a bigger case. It seems small and cheap :p I recommend any Corsair cases. I personally have the Carbide 400R. It's pretty big (for me at least) and everything fits pretty easily. I have a GTX 660Ti and it fits fine so with a 400R or 500R you'd have ample space to upgrade Smile
