Post: Advice On My New Build

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey NGU, I've built custom computer rigs for people before but have never had the money to do my own. However now I do! So I've put a bit of time into research an planning, for I want my machine to be the best it can be without becoming too expensive. I set my budget at around $1600 AUD which I'm pretty sure isn't to much different to the US dollar at the moment. I want this rig to be future proof, have alot of freedom and be able too last me through a lot of gaming.
The build I came up with is as follows, If there's any parts you think should be swapped with something more appropriate then let me know! All help is really appreciated Smile

Motherboard: (Socket: 1150) MSI Z87-G45 Gaming Motherboard ($199)
Processor: Intel Core i5 4670K ($275)
Heatsink: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler ($39)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Red CMZ16GX3M4X1866C9R 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 ($185)
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 770 Gaming Edition 2GB ($499)
Storage: Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD ($119)
Western Digital WD Black 1TB WD1002FAEX ($95)
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 850W Modular HCG-850M ($175)
CASE: CoolerMaster CM Storm Stryker Case ($185)
OS: Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64bit OEM ($155)
Total: ($1926)

Any recommended changes? Is there any better cases for $ then the one I have chosen? Also are the choice of CPU, MB, RAM and GPU the best 'bang for buck' and cheapest solution in regards to not having to upgrade in the future? With the SSD also, is the samsung 840 the best choice? IS it better to pay a bit more for the 840 pro? Or another brand?

Thanks in advance!

It matters, what are you planning to do with it? Streaming, gaming , editing ,ect. If it is for gaming what are you planning to run and at what specs.

I will be gaming on the highest settings possible, for many games - farcry 3, borderlands 2, call of duty ghosts when released etc..
I may edit and stream as well for a youtube channel, I want power for freedom if that makes sense?
