I Own An Alienware M17xR3 (the specs are below)
And I Would Like To Get A New Graphics Card And More Ram

According to the crucial scanner I have;
Memory Type: DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 (non-ECC)
Maximum Memory: 32GB
Currently Installed Memory: 4GB
Total Memory Slots: 4
Available Memory Slots: 2


My Question is what ram (I’m looking for about 4gb-8gb extra) will fit, and what graphics card will fit (better than the 560M) Also am I better off getting it done at my local pc world or currys? As I think my warranty has run out and I don’t want to risk breaking it as I have no replacement, will I be covered if they break it?

Yeah, what Sheldon said. Just sell the laptop and build a desktop. Not to hate on your laptop but my Samsung laptop has a better graphics card, it's a GTX 640M.
