I'm planning on getting a new custom made PC.
The thing is, I've heard that 2 graphic cards give better performance. Is this true ?
And how do they work together? And is this a smart idea?

I'm planning on getting two Nvidia GTX 770's.

1 graphic card is usually enough, but if you want two go ahead. It wouldn't help a lot unless you plan on running games like Battlefield 4 on Ultra. I personally just went with one as it was enough and didn't have to waste money.

Can two graphic cards cause some problems with some games ? Because that's what someone told me.

Usually no. I know 4 or 5 people who have two GTX 670's and never have problems.

Pros to Crossfire/SLI:
Better performance.
Looks good.

Cons to Crossfire/SLI:
Expensive.
More heat.
Doesn't always work.

I'd rather go with 1 high end card like the 780Ti or the R9 290x than pair to "lower" end cards like the 760 or the 770. Smile
