Getting a laptop that can run a game at that price point new is a challenge. You must login or register to view this content.. This is an OK starting point, all it needs is. more ram and and a bigger graphics card to be a nice computer. So your going to invest $250 more to make make it effective. The 7770ghz is a good starting point as it can play bf3 on high which is much better than bf4 since bf4 is beyond broken, it can run sky rim and the older fallouts well and you can play all the valve games.

You must login or register to view this content.. this is your price and will work but its not as upgradable. And if youncsn invest in a cheap gaming keyboard and mouse as it will save you some frustaration. And hand cramps

Its not a laptop its a desktop you build but you can easily find good videos on YouTube and it takes a hour at most but its the only way to get a computer that can play games at that price

Your probably better looking second hand at that price, you can get some real bargains sometimes.

Are you set on a laptop, or would you go for a desktop as above?

Your going to have to spend a lot of money then closer to $1000 for a decent gaming laptop
