You can build a gaming PC for around £500 to 950.
950 is going to get you a machine which can do any game at high settings.
One question is do you have a screen?
Next is gaming going to be your only use of it?
The first thing to do is to find a case you like and move from that, limits what you can use. Bigger the case more room and can add more parts.

no i do not have a pc monitor
no i will also use it to watch movies surf the web and update my cv that's all i can i think of
do u have any recommended sites to get a case and other parts i will need thanks.

Start at partpicker.co.uk
Help you build a shopping list, due to doing mostly gaming you don't need that much RAM, so that should save you some money. You need around 16-8Gb. Most gaming PCs have an 8Gb worth of RAM installed.
My main bit of advice would be to look around at cases first.
Do you want a small case or middle of the pack or massive one. That going to help decide on your motherboard size, after that it picking a board. This is going to require a bit of research, as for building it tons of guides.
CPU I would go with a intel 3570 no k or 4670.

i was thinking of using Thermaltake Chaser A41 Mid Tower Chassis case or Thermaltake Chaser A31 Case for Gaming PC anyone have any input witch would be better and why? thanks

I know nothing on cases sorry in my eyes it looks ugly :p
From what reading A31 is the same is the case apart from some small differences I think it's bigger. You don't always have to go for "Gaming cases" Corsair Carbide 900R is one example.

Almost any case can be a gaming case. Most "gaming cases" have bight LEDs and and agressive styling to attract newer people if people stick with it most have very subtle and quiet cases in there second builds
