I personally had a Dell Inspiron 15 SE, and it was a good computer. Mine had an i7 with 8 Gb of ram, and a 750GB HDD. Personally, I found it got very hot, doing the simplest of tasks (by which I mean multi tasking, watching videos etc). working as a computer technician I see lots of computers, and what they are capable of. I recently had on here, an Acer TravelMate|P. Its a 17", Core i5 with 8GB or cam and a 750, but ran much smoother, and much cooler than my old Dell did.

If you need some advice or want some help in regards to buying a computer, just let me know. You can PM me or send me an email: [email protected]

I hate using laptops to be honest since they drain batteries alot especially when powerful and it heats up fast. I would go with Mac since I know Mac has a big 3D advantage in graphics and I've seen lots of youtubers use macs as the way to edit. Yeah mac costs alot, but there is a reason behind it costing alot :p.

They most likely learned on a Mac and a custom built desktop is much more flexible and you can easily get hardware to match your programs if your a power user
