(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, im not that knowledgeable with PCs and i was wondering if you guys can help me out, i have two things i can do right now, i can either build a PC, or buy one and upgrade it, ill list them in order

Build:
things im looking for,
1.i just want a video rendering PC doubling as a gaming pc, but mostly rendering, so a 4gb GPU would be very usefull.
2. Fairly fast processor, Ram isnt an issue with 8-16 thats about it.
3. ~$900-~1100

Build: You must login or register to view this content.
Comments: maybe you could take down the case a little bit and that extra $~20-$40 could make for a better motherboard, or some more ram,

Buy Then Upgrade:
You must login or register to view this content. I was thinking about this, the 32 gb of ram and the processor caught my eye, but for my purpose i would have to give it a GPU since it doesnt have one, that would put me at around $1000 anyway, but leave your comments
Thanks, Omniscience

If you want a real fast processor I recommend the AMD 9590 - it's a 5.00 GHz processor. But that's just if you want speed, personally id stick with the i7 4770K though if you're putting that much money into it.

Other than that I would get the one that's premade because t said it was on sale for $600.
The GPU in the first one seems a little overpriced lol my 780 3GB was $500 8 months ago so I'm sure those came down in price by now. Also the build you made didn't have an OS (least it didn't show for me) so that would be another ~$100 which goes a bit over your budget.

All in all I vote for the premade one, drop a 290X or 770/780 in it depending if you can find a good price on the 780 or not. Besides, the premade one has an i7 vs. i5 regardless that the i7 doesn't get fully utilized yet, one day soon it might.

Quick edit: the premade one amazes me by how cheap it is. Ram is roughly ~$10/GB so you have $320 in ram right there. The i7 is ~250 I think so just those two things take up the $600 so it's a real good deal.

I was thinking about torrenting the OS, since there really isnt a need to buy one, if i can save $100 im going to do it. I could try to find a cheaper GPU, but what brand should i go for? I was looking at a Zotac earlier, i heard they make nice cards but i was told to go with EVGA,but Zotac is a little cheaper.

If i went with the pre built, id have to figure out how to disassemble it, then see if the GPU will fit, make sure its compatible with all the parts, all that hassle and im not sure if it would work out, like i said im new to this and im not sure how to check to see if they will be compatible, but thanks for your help Happy

Get a 2gb 770 and a i7 and then you will be fine as a 77) has enough power for your needs

My card is a zotac, I got it cause the clock speed were higher at stock and it was cheaper than the bigger name brands. I don't think disassembling the PC would be hard, but I bet on that website they say what mobo it has

Well if I was to guess it would work with any single AMD or Nvidia card but if you want to play it safe, go with the custom build.
