(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I need a little determining what I should add, and take away from my current build.

Currently I have a;

Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
GPU: GeForce GTX 560 SSC (Super-Super Clocked)
CPU: AMD-FX 8320 3.5Ghz 8 Core
Memory: 8GB DDR3 @ 1200mhz

What I am upgrading:
GPU: ASUS R9 270x
Memory: Corsair Vengence 16GB @ 1600mhz
PSU: Thermaltake 700w (Maybe... Not sure)

Now, with this being said will I be able to run most newer games on highest setting while getting decent FPS? Should I change anything? Comment below.

What kind of budget do you have for upgrading?

Ram looks good. Going 2x8 for dual channel?

I have the XFX R9 270x. It's so so..I wish I had sprung a little more and gone with a 280, but at the time I wasn't able to. I am considering and setting money aside to crossfire another R9 270x so that should have me set.

Don't upgrade your PSU and get a 280x instead of a 270x because you will get much better performance out of the 280x

Well, thats really the only problem... I want to upgrade, but I'm on a budget. I have gathered enough information that a 270x would suit my needs.

Give a full list of specs + budget. From what you provided so far, I would recommend:

- R9 280 / R9 280X / GTX 770 (the upgrade from a GTX 560 to a 270X isn't worth the money).

- Stay with 8GB RAM. If you use more than 6GB RAM for more than half the day, then go for 12GB (just add a single 4GB stick). If you max out 8GB RAM for more than half the day, then go for the 16GB RAM. If you buy more ram, make sure the voltages and CAS latency match up with your current RAM.

- 750W is overkill. You do not need 750W for a single GPU. Most you need is probably 500W; 600W to be safe.

- If you don't already, I would consider getting an SSD.

TLAwesome faceR - Add SSD, get R9 280/280X or GTX 770.
