I would really appreciate any recommendations and feedback from you guys since you guys are very technical and are geniuses when it comes to PC's.

switch to a i5 and get better graphics card such as a gtx 970 or amd 290

Switch to a i5 over i7 unless you want to overclock and go into SLI.
GPU go with 770 or 970 you get better power to price to performance.
