Hey everyone I was looking to build a somewhat decent gaming pc with a budget around 600$. Of course, the cheaper the better. I'm just starting off, so I don't need an advanced computer. The build Toke supplied is better than mine (GPU is the only thing better) and my PC (see my signature) plays all those games you said you just fine on max settings. AMD builds will be cheaper for you, as cut corners with their CPU's. The FX6300 is advertised as a 6 core CPU, but it's actually for 3 physical, and 3 additional logical cores instead of 6 physical cores. Nothing wrong with it. Little performance is sacrificed when stacked against the equivalent Intel one, but I haven't had any performance problems with my CPU.
Paired with a Hyper Evo 212 and some Arctic Silver 5, I idle at 8-16 C in a 65-70 F room.
