(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey everyone I was looking to build a somewhat decent gaming pc with a budget around 600$. Of course, the cheaper the better. I'm just starting off, so I don't need an advanced computer. I live in the United States and I'm looking to play games like DayZ, H1Z1, TF2, and CSGO. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

If you have no problem spending $600, I would get this build:

Motherboard: You must login or register to view this content. ($52.99 @ Amazon)

This build will also work and is perfectly fine for your, but you're losing a fair bit of performance to save ~$100:

Thanks man! I'll definitely take these two into consideration, though I'll probably go for the first one. I've got kinda a noob question though, is the i3 or the amd fx 6300 a better choice? I feel like most people stay away from amd

i went for a more complete build with the ssd bootdrive so ypur computer is never slow but if you dont care about that and only want raw preformance swap it out for a evga 600b psu and a r9 290 graphics card.

The build Toke supplied is better than mine (GPU is the only thing better) and my PC (see my signature) plays all those games you said you just fine on max settings. AMD builds will be cheaper for you, as cut corners with their CPU's. The FX6300 is advertised as a 6 core CPU, but it's actually for 3 physical, and 3 additional logical cores instead of 6 physical cores. Nothing wrong with it. Little performance is sacrificed when stacked against the equivalent Intel one, but I haven't had any performance problems with my CPU.

Paired with a Hyper Evo 212 and some Arctic Silver 5, I idle at 8-16 C in a 65-70 F room.

There is no way your CPU idles at that temp with an air cooler, especially with an AMD CPU. It's impossible to have your CPU cooler than the ambient temperature while using air cooler.

Awesome man, and yeah a little drop in performance is fine with me, as long as it gets the job done.

Then go with the build Toke supplied and you'll be just fine.
