(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have an old e machine PC and it was going really slow because I was downloading a bunch if shit on it, I took it to this guy and he said he can fix and he did then I started downloading more shit on it and I took it to him again, it was still slow and I was taking the blame for it. This happened when I was like 3-4 years ago when I was like 14. So now that I'm a bit older I gained some knowledge and found out to to reinstall windows with a usb, found that doing this you'll wipe out everything in the hard drive and remove any rats and viruses. So I did it. After doing so I was able to Install windows 7 again and removed my windows.old file. Haven't download much since I did except for ccleaner, target manager and a few more but trusted programs. And the pc is still slow. So then I decide to open the pc and found out that I think a drive is missing because where the drives go there's only one and I think the pc says in a sticker that the computer has about 200 gb yet when I check on the C:/ it says there's only 100gb. I was wondering if anyone can skype me and I can show you how the pc is looking inside and what drive I should buy for it to make it faster. Thanks

With any hard drive you don't get the full amount that it says on the box. For example i have a 2TB hard drive however it only comes with 1.81Tb of storage without anything even installed on it. It's also worth noting that if you have only 1 Hard drive installed then more space will be taken up by windows (or any other OS which you decide to use). If you can post your PC specs then that will help to give a better indication as to what is causing your PC to be slow

It's most likely your ram that's causing it. You're prolly running too many programs for your ram to handle. Since you said your pc is 3-4 years old, it would prolly be best just to upgrade to a new pc, or just get better ram. Hope this helps Enzo

That's the thing it says 100gb and has like 70 gb when I installed windows. yet I remembered this paper said it was like about 200 gb but I might just get a new pc I'm thinking of building my own in the summer but I don't really have any knowledge with the rams sdd's video cards or any of that. If I knew I'm sure I can pull it off to make my own since I mess with like the ps3 I kinda have an idea about the mother board the CPU and such . Thanks though Upside Down Happy

Not a bad idea, judging by the Hardrive it does sound like your PC is pretty old. Building your own PC is not as hard as people make out and there are plenty of good sources to help you out
