Title says 600, then you said $0 in thread. You forget a 6 and a zero? stare

If it is $600 then you can go off this quick build You must login or register to view this content. and then makes changes to it as needed.

You must login or register to view this content. i 'd save another 100 so you can get a bigger graphics card such as a a 290 or a 280x, you could save some money if u find a place in Australia that sells a athlon 860k

This is what I have just build and I am using at the moment until I can upgrade more parts but it came up to about $810.94 (£515.41 in the UK)

It is a pretty good simple setup. but obviously if you are kinda wanting to go a little cheaper then get a smaller PSU like a 500 or something and that will drop the price a bit then you could scrap the blu ray drive and just get a DVD one for cheap.

Even going to a 600w PSU will drop the price by $60ish and then add another $50 or so for the blu ray drive and it comes up to $700ish.

Personally I would save up another $100 and then you should have a better choice in things to purchase especially if you want to use some up to date things Happy

Just curious, why did you get a 750w psu? It's seems hugely unnecessary for the parts on that list.

You only see benefits of dual channel in benchmarks really. Real world use, not so much. I still prefer 2x4gb due to if one fails you can just remove it :p

I got one just because I am upgrading it every week nearly so instead of buying things and then it needing more from the PSU I just got a bigger one instead. I mean I have just added another 2 HDDs and another DVD Drive so it made more sense at the time lol.
