(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently ordered the Acer Aspire 17.3 Inch Laptop with Intel Quad-Core up to 2.66GHz Processor and 4GB RAM,500GB Hard Drive,DVD-RW Optical Drive,Windows 8.1 (64-bit) (Certified Refurbished). I wanted to know if this was a good PC for modding, surfing the web, recording videos and commentaries with the HD PVR 2 and also making graphics with photoshop? I simply just need a fast PC that can multi task. I ordered this one and just wanted to know some opinions on how I did for my requirements. You must login or register to view this content. . I'm not looking for something that's $1,000 or something that's perfect I just want something that's a great speed and allows me to do the things I wanna do without a problem.

PS: I understand this is the PS3 section but I mod on PS3 and would like some opinions from people in this section as well... For files and programs to be downloaded on the PC.

Can’t trickshot me!
Pentium + 4GB of RAM. Good luck with that. This laptop is a basic student laptop. Browse the web, write essays, make powerpoints.

Good luck with any sort of recording/rendering. I'm not sure how a photo editing program will do on a Pentium. I can't really say since I've never owned a Pentium. The lowest-end processor I've ever used a photo editing program on was a desktop i3. But my guess is that that mobile Pentium should be able to run GIMP fairly easily. Photoshop can be opened, but it will probably be laggy.

Not sure why there are 2 of the same threads. However I am closing this one in since the other was technically first.
