(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently ordered the Acer Aspire 17.3 Inch Laptop with Intel Quad-Core up to 2.66GHz Processor and 4GB RAM,500GB Hard Drive,DVD-RW Optical Drive,Windows 8.1 (64-bit) (Certified Refurbished). I wanted to know if this was a good PC for modding, surfing the web, recording videos and commentaries with the HD PVR 2 and also making graphics with photoshop? I simply just need a fast PC that can multi task. I ordered this one and just wanted to know some opinions on how I did for my requirements. You must login or register to view this content. . I'm not looking for something that's $1,000 or something that's perfect I just want something that's a great speed and allows me to do the things I wanna do without a problem.

PS: I understand this is the PS3 section but I mod on PS3 and would like some opinions from people in this section as well... For files and programs to be downloaded on the PC.

I was told otherwise. That it's good for doing the things I want to do and that it's not the best. But it will get things done.

The processor is outdated, you don't have enough RAM, and I shouldn't forget to mention it's crappy DDR3 memory, as well. I don't even see any video/graphics card specs in that list, either. And you already ordered this? Unless you're doing small office work, I wouldn't have bothered myself with this junk heap.

its decent for coding websites and handling flash programs.... i would recommend having 8gbs of ram.... at least 4GHz.... and a better graphics card...

You guys don't understand what I'm saying when I mention gaming.. Not PC gaming but recording PS3 gameplay with the laptop over a program.

Just because something is outdated doesn't mean it's bad.. Think to the point were people were using it and the new processors weren't released... It wasn't outdated then and it was working perfectly fine. So just because something is not up to date doesn't mean it will not function good.. It simply just means their is a newer version released with better offers. What the hell is wrong with DDR3 ram? I wanna hear this explanation. I'm not doing PC gaming .. I'm doing PS3 gameplay recording over a program on the PC... That's what I meant when I said gaming. So therefor all of the things you said above are irrelevant towards my situation and using of the laptop.

Thanks for lighting things up for me.. When you said flash programs you mean like "Internet browsing, Photoshop, Desktop programs etc..." I'm not doing PC gaming. So I don't need 4 GHz or a better graphics card.
