Post: Upgrading Parts (NEED HELP)

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480
RAM: 8GB
MOBO: ASUS Z77-A
PSU: Rocketfish 500w
Upgrading my GPU to the GeForce GTX 770, but I was told I needed to upgrade my PSU if I wanted to get the card. I don't know much about computers and I did not build this myself.
I was wondering if the MOBO was decent and if I should get this PSU (OPEN SPOILER) to replace the old one.
