Can’t trickshot me!
Since primarily gaming, I'd recommend Intel over AMD. Intel has better single-core performance, which is what you'll want for a gaming PC.

When your on a budget yes it is a good chip but if you can do invest in a intel CPU as they have stronger single core performance as Rawr said, the benefit of this is that games normally won't use more than 4 cores so it's better to have less cores which are more powerful than loads of cores which are weaker. It's also worth noting that this CPU will bottleneck higher end GPU's so be careful what GPU you pick with this CPU
