(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK this is my Question, Mission, whatever. I have a Toshiba Satellite L505 Laptop. My Dang cat named Lena like to lay on my laptop every time i get up to do something. Well this time i pulled a cd out of the drive Lena jumped on coffee table laptop fell my dvd/cd drive try, snapped off. this is my question i have a couple internal drive from my desktops i dont use, can and how do i turn one into a external drive for my laptop? someone told me about this and that it was possible. I don't know how to do that ill end up messing up my (NOW) shitty laptop up even more. So if anyone knows how to do this can please give me the game on how to do it. Thanks a lot folks Laterz.

For all your converters you are paying as much as a new CD drive would cost specifically for your laptop seems to cost, or at least approach that cost if you are handy with a screwdriver though laptops are really fragile, good luck OP.

Laptop drives are fairly easy to replace, ultimately that be best, but if you want to use an adapter, that'll work too.
