(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok as the title says, this build was built 3 Years ago by me, I just want to know if I should upgrade anything for any new upcoming games. As I haven't touched my PC for gaming for the last year and a half (University Sucks). So now Im on break and bored from console gaming I want to go back to the PC scene, I just what to know if I should upgrade anything.

CPU: i7 4770K Overclocked to 4.2GHz Stable @ 45 Celsius
Ram: 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 1600
Storage: Samsung 500GB EVO Pro SSD, and 2TB WD Caviar Black
OS: If it matters Windows 10, Elementary OS, Centos 6.5.
CPU Cooler: H100i Liquid Cooling
Graphics Card: 4GB MSI GTX 760 Nvidia
Case: If it matters Vengeance Corsair
Fans: 8 2400 RPM Fans all over with some modifications on my case to lower the noise and increase Air Flow.

So let me know.

Thanks, for how many years will the GTX 970 last or the 980ti, as I have 500$ so not really on a budget.

If you have $500 get this one
You must login or register to view this content.
Best in the range

Should last around 5-6 years with decent fps at 1080p
Anything above 1080p you need to go for SLI setup
Also cancel the overclock of your i7 as no games utilizes it .It only draws more power
Get a 80 plus gold seasonic power supply pref the platinum series .
Dust the case apply fresh thermal paste and you are good to go
Oh and get the new X1 controller since you will be migrating from console to pc
Keyboard mouse setup sucks for us Smile
For the chasis fans make sure you have more exhaust Fans than intake fans. Negative pressure provides the best cooling performances

Thanks I will try to get everything you listed. After I get my last paycheck from my job. I would be able to do this easily.

how when the gtx 760 is only 2 years old. and 4gb models are only about a year old also if you have it and enjoy playing games on it right now why do you need to spend more money on it?
