(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I would need some help on what could be a good CPU to upgrade to since I would like to upgrade my CPU to something better than this CPU I currently have a AMD A6-6400k APU with Radeon Graphics Any thing better than this also Maximum Price would be 200$ or less the best would be 150$

Edit: You must login or register to view this content. Found this would this be a good upgrade?

I'm not sure if your motherboard supports FM2+. If it supports FM2+ then it supports FM2+ and FM2 CPU. In your case the CPU you have is FM2, so your motherboard might not support FM2+.

My suggestions for FM2+: AMD A10-7800 Kaveri Quad-Core 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) Socket FM2+ 65W AD7800YBJABOX

Less Expensive FM2+: AMD Athlon X4 860K Kaveri Quad-Core 3.7 GHz Socket FM2+ 95W

The wattage usage is a huge difference if you get the less expensive one. I hope your power supply can handle it.

FM2: AMD A10-5800K Trinity Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket FM2

Good luck!

well theres not much reason to upgrade to another apu. they rely on how fast your system ram is for the video ram and system ram is way to fucking slow. so id save more dollars and do a propper upgrade with a new cpu and a new motherboard.

So I would need to get a new motherboard to upgrade my CPU?
