Suh dudes,
so I should be getting my tax return here in a couple weeks, and I plan on purchasing a PC.

This is the build:

CPU: You must login or register to view this content. ($189.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: You must login or register to view this content. ($118.99 @ Amazon)

Storage: You must login or register to view this content. ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: You must login or register to view this content. ($65.99 @ SuperBiiz)

Case: You must login or register to view this content. ($59.98 @ Mac Mall)
Power Supply: You must login or register to view this content. ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $934.37

So around $950 is pushing it. I wanted to go with a $900 budget, but I bumped it up some. What are your thoughts and/or suggestions? I have completely lost interest in console's recently, so that's one of the reasons why I want a decent gaming PC. Plus it's time for an upgrade. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this.

Thanks!

I don't need a Z, because i'm not overclocking. There's no point.

I bought cheaper RAM when I went with my skylake build but if you want to put more money until your build where it will count more power to you, also yeah your 970 will be nice, don't you dare think about getting a 960 now that you mentioned a 970 McCoy
also you will want more hard drive space Im telling you now 240 isnt enough lol.

Well what I'm saying is there's no point. I'm on a budget here, and if I'm not going to be overclocking, then I don't need a Z motherboard. Thank you for your input though Smile

Are you high?
Might be a bit late, but replace that 970 with an R9 390 :p. Twice the amount of VRAM for the same price.

Can’t trickshot me!
If you could stretch to a little over $1k, you could get a GTX 980 TI :P
