Are you high?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I purchased a pre built "gaming" computer about two years ago and I need to upgrade it. I've since installed a GTX 1060 GPU but now I'm looking for a motherboard/cpu combo. I'm looking at a budget of around $3-500, preferably on the lower end. Also anything else like power supply that I would need. I'm new to building myself so as much help as possible is appreciated.

bud, you do know what a xeon is right? and lga 1366 is a dead platform with outdated pci bandwidth. then you need to make sure it has front side bus feeds and play the is this ram compatable game. also your buying old used hardware, it could be a dud or basicly dead or brand newish and its most likely not close to newish. that plex build is a straight rip from a linustechtips video. and if that were completely better, id have a 16 core rig and i dont
