Yes you can, There is a program where you can convert your normal psp battery to a pandora battery and convert it back to normal.

I think its called pandora battery creator but I'm not 100% sure. I know there is a program thou because I've used it before.

What is your firmware version and what games do you got?
I remember downgrading my PSP FAT with an hacked GTA Liberty City Stories savegame but that's a long, looong time ago. There were some other exploited save games in Ridge Racer and Locoroco I think. Just gimme some info about your PSP

If I do find the program. Will I be able to just put it in the root of my memory stick or does my PSP have to be modded?

Nahh you just connect your psp to your computer with a usb. It will mod your normal battery to a pandora battery but you would need to use a fat battery. Meaning you can't use a slim battery or you'll mess the battery up. Once you mod your battery and your done hacking it to the cfw you want to be @. You use the same program to mod the battery back to normal. Your softmodding your battery instead of hardmodding it. I've been using mine ever since and the battery is fine.
