yeah its got no room inside at all sony obviously dont like people improving their products
i was thinking on moulding a clear ps3 case for my fat and putting LEDs in it but its too much effort

I looked at it a couple more times and took it apart\put together. I seen a very good place to run the wires. Thinking of just do the WLAN switch led mod. Gonna do sound reactive on the slim in gettin.

oh hell yeah pulsating LEDs thats ownage probably should get a better battery too sony stock batterys are pathetic and die real fast and with etra power drainage its a good idea

I can't do sound ones on the because I can't get 1 of the screws out on the top half. I'll try 2norrow again. I hope my dad does not have to work so he can take me to radioshack. I don't think the shack has smd's, so I'm just gonna get 3mm LEDs. Do you think I should use a resistor?

try ebay for the SMD LED's its worth it and there brighter and also ive seen some SMD's have multiple color abiltiys
not sure about the resistor i think its not really nessercery although i could be wrong >.<

I'm not gonna keep the go btw. Just modding for fun and kinda showing off at school so I can make $$ moddin peoples.
UPDATE: I got the speakers and had some fun messin around with a couple of LEDs. If I do the sound reactive ones idk were to mount yet. I found a nice +lead too!!
