Okay, so for those that don't understand what this means and for those who don't know,
the Playstation has already been released in Japan. Big whoop; Old news.
However, Sony let existing Japanese PSP customers trade their UMD's towards digital
downloads for a small fee around the range of ($6.50-$13).

Sadly, this "UMD Passport Service" that Japan has had won't be making its way over-
seas to grace those in the United States. Sony hasn't said why the service won't make it
stateside but those who purchase a Vita in the US can still buy games at a discounted price.

Personally, I think this is a tad unfair. I don't have a ton of UMD's, but they will basically
become obsolete considering the Vita is strictly digital. You can read the whole story

How many games do you have for your PSP?

I believe its because they believe we will find a way to exploit this and once we get digital copies of the games we will upload and find a way to share them plus I believe this has to be done via ps3 or a pc meaning we could use it via data transfer on cfw and NA has a significantly higher amount of people with CFW ps3's than most other countries.
