Sign up to Trend Micro on PlayStation Vita for the best protection against online threats and inappropriate content.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has signed an agreement with Trend Micro Inc., a global cloud security leader, to provide two web security services to all PS Vita owners: Trend Micro Kids Safety for PlayStation®Vita and Trend Micro Web Security for PS Vita.

Both services make full use of Trend Micro's URL filtering and web reputation technologies to prevent inappropriate websites from being accessed and ensure that users are blocked from accidentally visiting a website that may contain malicious content designed to steal personal information and confidential data.

Purchased separately, each individual service for is £14.95 per year; purchased together, the cost is £24.95 per year.

PS Vita owners can sign up to a free 90-day trial of either service once the handheld system launches in Europe on 22 February 2012.

I suggest you wait a week or two :y: You never know I never buy something that just came out RIGHT away I don't know why but I think it is more safe :p

I posted this just to share what I read on the interwebz :y: But hey, I agree with you.. If you buy something that just came out, in this case the PSvita, you know that you can use it safely and most important, know how to use it :p So yeah i think £25 a year is not that much it does around ~£2,2 a month but still you are right .
