Anyways I just got this psp the old phat one 1001 I believe and it has a custom firmware on it that doesn't even let me play my newer games. I have no idea what to do. Its 3.10 OE-A. Can I get a little help? Tried looking aroung but only finding things from 2007 I don't really want to brick this guy as I haven't had a psp in about 5yrs. Any help is appreciated thanks ngu!

ok well ur in luck cause im here to help you. It seems like your on the old version of Dark Alex's CFW... unfortunetly u cant upgrade directly to the highest CFW what you have to do is do the exact update steps i tell you or you will risk bricking.

First Update to 3.52m33 then update to 5.00m33-6 from there you can do a simple google to either stay there or risk upgrading to 5.50 GEN-A or 5.50 GEN-B

no problem im currently on 5.00m33-6 but there are higher CFW then that... if u need help looking for things just type in google "[UR CFW] upgrade" and things shoujld come up
