Well, I currently have a hacked PS Vita Running TN-V2 through Urbanix exploit (gotta love the free game sony gave) on firmware 1.80. I can relive the moments when I hacked my PSP, downloading ISO's (PSP and PS1) and flashing themes, using plugins such as cwcheat etc. I think this made my vita alot better, free games at my disposal Smile

I told myself I wouldn't get a Vita until some sort of more extensive HEn is released (VHBL is lame tbh) and out came TN. I'm saving up for a Vita so I can play with it :p. Recently sold my PSP and I want to get back into it.

Well i bought 2 faulty vitas to make a single working one and it was easy, so for much less than half the cost of a single vita i have effectively one fully working one and one just needing a screen. now this may not be an option for everyone as i have years of experience fixing things so it was easy for me, but i can highly recommend this route to anyone that is comfortable repairing games consoles. anyway to the point - i bought them with the intention of hacking them/it but being fully aware that i would have to wait for an exploit to come out that wont require a bought game (i will NEVER trust sony with my card details) unless one comes out for a card based game so i can go to a store and buy it cash. roll on the exploit that works on 2.12, and yes i know theres one out but it requires a purchase from the psn store which of course we cant do now, and as i explained i wont be doing in any case. so right now my vitas are gathering dust atm waiting for the super exploit that opens it up and removes all the dumb ass restrictions sony likes to add just for shits and giggles. honestly atm if you must have an exploit get a second hand psp 1xxx from fleabay for less than £20 and hack the shit out of it until the vita is truly cracked.

Yeah, I was on the brink of selling my PS Vita but then suddenly came along this lucky chance to hack it, luckily I met the requirements for the TN eCFW hack :p

Looking at the current Vita hacks, all of the exploits (VHBL/eCFW) are based on games that you have to get through the Playstation store itself, I doubt there would be a card based one since that is Sony's own format. Their hasn't been much breakthrough, last time I remember a developer going by the name of "SKFU" had a number of PS Vita Development kits which he used to break through the OS, but hasn't seem to post anything new at all...

I have my PS Vita running on 1.80 Monster Hunter Freedom Unite exploit with a multiboot menu. I have all the popular menus running on my PS Vita (e.g. pyMenu, yMenu, tnMenu, gMenu, etc.) and I must say it works like a charm. My favorite feature overall, is the PSP XMB emulator. I have PSP ISOs running smoothly, emulators work like a charm, and all the plugins are flawless.

Well there's always a chance to hack it, I mean the latest firmware (2.61 at the time) has already got a VHBL exploit from 2 People, (The Z and some other guy)(Note: VHBL only allows you to run homebrew games such as gPSP, SNES etc) However there is also a kernel exploit which only Total Noob has access to (The guy who developed eCFW TN for the PS Vita) which will be released just after the PS4 is officially released to the world of consumers.

I was going to run the other multiboot menu's but I pretty much fell in love with the XMB at first sight. Only thing bugging me is that some ISO's don't work on the PS Vita and there is no sound plugin for PS1 games, would of loved to play Crash bash Happy

Lol, the XMB is amazing and you could add that feature to the multiboot menu. Tell me about the ISO's! I would love to play all the old games I used to play all the time!

Hacked.
I have been hacking handhelds since they came out.
I hacked pretty much every model of the PSP and am planning to do so with the Vita.
I haven't been disappointed with hacking the PSP (except when I bricked some of my PSP's because I was tampering with it too much) so I hope I won't be with the Vita.
Good Luck Bro! Happy
