(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I would plan on transferring games to USB for ease of use etc so that would be the main concern when choosing a system. Plus that would mean that there would need to be a CFW installed, right? Which system is worth getting now so late in the game? PSP? Go? Vita?

If you're looking to use CFW i would suggest that you purchase a PSP 3000. While the PSVITA is a more current handheld there have been very little developments when it comes to custom firmware, at the moment there is no possible way to do it. As for the PSP Go it actually contains less features then the 3000 and i wouldn't recommend it.

While the original PSP is a pretty old and possibly 'outdated' handheld it still has a great line up of games, with most of them being available to you for free providing that you have CFW installed. It's possible to pick one up pre-owned for under $100 so it's not expensive or anything. If you decide to buy a PSP make sure to take the size of your memory card into consideration, i recommend having a memory card of at least 4gb or some games may not fit on the memory card.

If you're willing to wait 6 months to a year for a CFW to be released for the PSVITA then that's another option that you can possibly take. If you're looking for a more modern gaming experience at the expense of your time and money then you may want to take this road.
