How can I create an account either with Google or PTC without having to choose a username or starting Pokemon. Reason I'm asking is because I want to trade a friend an account for a scooter. That way I can level up the account in a bot and then have him choose his own username and starter Pokemon. Any great feedback is appreciated

You could do what Squid said but in the new update you can change your name one time. Also your starter pokemon doesn't mean anything anway. Especially if you're going to bot an account for him.

As squid said, there is no way, just ask your friend what name he wants, and use that on the account. There is however a new feature on the actual game that allows you to change your nickname, so he could always use that too.
