1. Ok. I take it that you are a regular Call of Duty player. So here's some advice...Drop EVERYTHING you've learned from playing Call of Duty. It will NOT work in Bad Company 2.

2. Find a team of teamwork oriented friends. If you have 2 friends that like using teamwork and holding defensive lines while protecting the objective, then keep them. If you have that one extra person who still mindlessly runs out in the open like its Call of Duty wasting reinforcement tickets, then delete him straight away. You can NOT win in this game without teamwork no matter what anyone says.

3.When firing your weapon, crouch. It stabilizes your weapon for better shots. Also when firing at long range, Pick your shots! If you know you have a bad chance of hitting someone, then don't bother firing. Just hold your position in a crouching stance, and wait for him to get closer to take him out. This would be called camping in Call of Duty. However, refer to the first point.

4.Camping WILL get you killed. Enemies are not static nor are they cooperative. You have to learn to use suppressing fire as well as be aggressive. In Bad Company 2, if you are very aggressive, you will become a great asset to your team. Always remember that the game modes are a "Push" type of warfare. If you camp the entire game with the rest of your teammates, I GUARANTEE you will lose.

5. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT KDR!!! Kdr means nothing and has NEVER meant anything. It's just a stupid number that Call of Duty players use to justify skill, when in reality it doesn't mean a thing. Obviously like I've said before, refer to point 1 about dropping everything you've learned from Call of Duty, it WILL get you killed.

6. Play your role, and stick to your mission. If you are on offense, then play offense. If you are on defense, then play defense. Too many people on the defensive side try to go off and attack the offensive players, and end up getting mutilated by tanks and helicopters. If you are an engineer, and you see a tank that needs repairing, THEN REPAIR IT! Everything that you do matters on the battlefield in this game.

7. The final lesson. Fight as if you were fighting in real life. If you see an enemy tank coming at you full speed, then take the rocket launcher and blow it to pieces. If you see 3 enemies coming at you, DON'T TRY TO TAKE THEM OUT ALONE! Fall back to some decent cover with a teammate, and THEN take the initiative to put them down. TEAMWORK TEAMWORK TEAMWORK WINS THE GAME!

Simple tips I have really:

Unless you are in hardcore, always aim for the head, seems simple but that .5 of a seccond it takes will usualy get you the kill.

Use vehicles to your advantage: Grab a tank and plow through walls because they can be used to defend a bomb planter/ flag capper.

Use your mic. Players who communicate will win more, and if you rambo it you will get some shiney kill medals but your team will get annoyed :P (past experience).

Hope I helped.

that was retarded if i see a tank coming at me IRL i dont stand like a jackass in the middle of it's path loading a RPG considering it could shoot a round at me at any given ****ing time, plus 3 enemies are easy pickings IRL if you have a machine gun
