Sony today announced it's official Motion Controller, the 'Move' at their GDC Press Conference. Along with the name and price, it was said that it would launch with 20 games, with support from 36 publishers.

Here are a list of games debuted as Demos:


  • Sports Champions
  • MoveParty
  • Motion Fighters


Here are the full details known so far:


  • Will be sold as a starter kit that comes with a game, controller, and PlayStation Eye for under $100
  • Will also be sold bundled with the PlayStation 3
  • Nunchuck confirmed, call PlayStation Move Sub-controller

To be honest I was never a fan of the Wii, so I for now I'm not sure if I'll enjoy Sony's effort at a motion controller. The price doesn't look to bad either considering it comes with a game aswell, I'm just worried it might become another Eye Toy fail.

this is obviously gonna be over hyped just like mw2 which was a fail in the end

This is the sort of thing i could play for hours on end and then never play it again after the first week. Might get it if its succsesful.

1. Sony is not copying the wii just because the wii has a motion controller. The ps move is much more advanced and more procise on movement it also tracks your bodies movement which the wii doesnt. The ps move is no copy and is much better than the wii controller.Also the controller does not look ugly it looks very modern and advanced in my opinion
