(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If some of you have seen people going around with a veteran status. Like the original BFBC, you could tell Dice/EA which previous BF games you owned, thus unlocking you a gun to use in the game, and getting your veteran status on your in-game name.

It's returned again.

This time you unlock the M1 Grand and Sabot Shotgun Rounds.

To apply for veteran status go to this link: You must login or register to view this content.

If you did this in the first Battlefeild, then your PSN/XBL should already be linked to an account that you hold with EA. If you did not, and/or do not have an account with EA, you will need to make one, and link your PSN/XBL to it.

You must ALSO prove that you own the games you say you have, by either providing login information (PC based games), or your in-game handle for them to check your stats. One of the games requires a CD Product Key.

This is 100% safe to do. I wouldn't be sharing it with you guys if it wasn't.

Enjoi your weapons, and veteran status.

+Rep/Thanks for the find/tutorial plox?

* Any games can be used to attain the Garand, 1943 is NOT a requirement.

* BF: Heroes, the BF:2142 Demo and the BF:2 Demo do count as games.

* Bad Company 2 does NOT count as a game.

It'll do it automatically, such as when you goto the vet page and click Battlefield Bad Company PS3 it will ask for your PS3 login details. You would enter them and it will register, then that games linked.

1943, and BFBC2 do not count towards the games to unlock the weapon, and obtain veteran status.

Yeah, the new games 1943 and up dont work to register vet status. EA said they were going to fix it for the longest time and still have yet to do it... but thats EA for you >.<

Battlefield is down. They were installing some kind of software or hardware to their severs.
